The platform is being built by a UK-based technology strategist with a background in public sector transformation and SME technology advisory. The incubator’s role is architect and investor, not operator. A CEO is required to run this — the right profile is an ecosystem builder comfortable with a standards and certification business, with SME channel relationships and a UK tech network.

The 12–18 month window before mainstream SME demand matures is the runway to build the platform’s critical capabilities. Immediate priorities are completing the vendor stack mapping, defining the AI positioning strategy, and opening the first strategic partner conversations.
